Sohail Hashmi – Delhi without the Yamuna

Sohail Hashmi is an academic, documentary filmmaker and historian. A Dilliwala, as he calls himself proudly, he conducts regular heritage walks to both prominent and lesser known monuments of Delhi, seeking to raise environmental and historical awareness. In this special lecture shares his intimate knowledge of Delhi’s pre-Raj water systems that cut through and beneath the city’s more modern infrastructural circuitries.
