Manju Kapur – Feminism, Metropolitanism and Violence in India

Indian novelist Manju Kapur, author of several novels including Difficult Daughters (1998), which won the 1999 Commonwealth Writers’ Prize for best first book, as well as A Married Woman (2003), Home (2006), The Immigrant (2008) and Custody (2011), in conversation here with the ‘Planned Violence’ Network’s Convener, Elleke Boehmer, reflects on her work’s relationship to the city of Delhi.
